Staying hydrated, even in winter, is essential to help the body to function at its best.

There are many articles written about the value of water verses sports drinks and the general consensus for the weekend athlete participating in an aerobic activity for less than 60 minutes, water is good!

As you are aware, the registration process has changed for this season. The following is the information you will need to successfully register with Shooters for the 2015 season.

Shooters hope our members, their families and our sponsors have a fabulous Australia Day 2015.

If you are enjoying the day in the sun don't forget to "slip, slop, slap", drink plenty of water and take care of each other for a safe day.

When you hear the cry "Aussie, Aussie Aussie" reply with volume and pride "Oi, Oi, Oi."

Sponsorship and member contributions go hand in hand to support the clubs financial obligations, but where membership is a "user pays" system, sponsorship is purely voluntary.

Shooters would love to hear from you if you or your company would like to support a club who provide a safe environment for our members to be active and healthy while developing their skills in the game of netball.

Shooters are working hard to keep our members and their families up to date with all that is going on through the season. In addition to our website, facebook and emails, Shooters have now been App'd.

The Shooters app sits on your smart phone screen, just like all the others you may have and anytime the app is updated with new information, you will get automatic notification... ding ding!

Shooters hope you have had a great Chrissy and New Year and are still enjoying your break over the school holidays.

This year Shooters made special mention to one of our spectators.

Barry is the grandfather of two of our members who, with his wife, come along to every game Montana and Georgia play, rain or shine.

At the end of a game Barry has been seen crossing the court to give words of encouragement to our umpires and gives praise where praise is due to both teams.

The season that was 2014 has finished, finals have been played and all the awards have been handed to their deserving recipients. Below are the results for the season.

Shooters have two teams playing in the NNA Grand Final on Saturday Septermber 13, 2014.

As with all grand finals, each team that takes the court will be playing to win, so expect to play a hard game girls. The opposition won't be handing you the trophy, you will have to earn it. You have made it this far, don't leave anyting on the court, play hard, play fair, play to win!

It is hard to believe that these girls won't be playing grand final on Saturday, but sadly that is the case.
